Dr. Vivian McAlister became a Fellow of the Royal College in 1990 after completing his postgraduate training in general surgery. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1979. After training in Family Medicine, he practiced in Saskatchewan where he competed certification of the Canadian College of Family Physicians. He is now a general surgeon with a special interest in HPB and transplant surgery in London, ON. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2008, deploying several times to Afghanistan. He was elected to the Royal College Council in 2011. More

Roy Kirkpatrick, MD, FRCSC (Huntsville, ON)
Dr. Roy Kirkpatrick is a graduate of Queen’s University, followed by a one year internship in internal medicine at the University of Manitoba and a residency in general surgery at the University of Ottawa. Roy has been in practice in Huntsville, Ontario since 1987 and is an associate professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

Dr. Anna Rozenberg is an anesthesiologist and internist at the Brantford General Hospital. She trained at McMaster University graduating in 2011. Her interest lies in the issues of recent graduate unemployment and patient safety.

Dr. Khalid Azzam is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine, McMaster University. His specialty training is in internal medicine and his clinical practice is focused on general internal medicine and bariatric medicine. Dr. Azzam is also the Assistant Dean for Continuing Health Sciences Education at McMaster University and he is the Director of Simulation in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at McMaster.
